I am
writing this letter to express my appreciation to you and your staff for the
wonderful care you have provided my mother over the last year and a half. Life
has been very difficult for her since we lost our dad. Your caregivers have
been sensitive to her special needs. They are always on time and neat in
appearance. They have not been caregivers, but companions as well. On occasion,
they have demonstrated their thoughtfulness through a candy bar or box of
chocolates. This has been a huge source of comfort to Mom. Shari has always
been professional and accommodating with last minute changes. She is very
careful to match up the client's needs and personality with the caregivers.
There has never been a time I couldn't reach her almost immediately by phone,
even on weekends. She is truly an asset to DayBreak.

Our family wants
to thank you for the Companion Services you provided Mother during the last
year. The companions you chose cared about her as a person, enabling her to
stay in her home with the freedom to stay independent which was so important to
her.
I wanted to acknowledge the extra time and expertise you provided
in locating the right companion that fit mother's personality. You identified
her need to have a "putterer" and found exactly the right person, but the
issues is, you take a personal interest in the specific personality and
emotional needs of your clients and go the extra mile to provide a compatible
companion so a real bond develops.
Over the last few years, due to the
broken bones or falls, I have used two other services, and neither has provided
anywhere near the quality of care that you do. Mother wasn't just a client to
both agencies, but you always treated her with such personal concern and
respect in all your interactions with her.
Our family appreciates the
care and support you provided, without which she would not have been able to
live out her life as she wanted to and would not have felt totally secure and
safe.

information for DayBreak Adult Care Services. As you know, my mother has been a
client of DayBreak's since September, 2002 and currently still receives
services. As a family member living a long distance away from the Columbia area
where my mother resides, it has been reassuring to receive dependable and high
quality service from your agency.
The workers you have assigned to be
with my mother have always been honest, reliable, and caring. They have also
been very good in assisting my mother with her activities of daily living. I
have also appreciated your ability to match the workers personality
characteristics with my mother so that there have not needed to be changes in
the regular caregivers.
Besides providing good caregivers, both your
office staff and have always ensured that there have been no interruptions in
service, despite complications such as hospitalizations for my mother,
out-of-town visits from our family members, and unavoidable illnesses or
personal emergencies which might have arisen infrequently for the workers. I
have also always been able to reach your office staff or you at any time I have
needed to make contact.

Nearly a year ago, I was asked to
help find 24-hour care for a dear friend. Your name was given to me by a staff
member at the office of my friend's doctor. An interview with you convinced me
that DayBreak Adult Care Services could handle our needs.
The months

right people were assigned to look after my friend. I hope that these two
conscientious and capable workers will be with her for as long as she needs
