Meet Amanda Niccum

Before joining the geriatric and long-term care field, Amanda Niccum worked as a Special Education teacher with high school students who had significant needs. That experience gave her a strong foundation in patience, problem-solving and recognizing the individual needs behind day-to-day care.

At DayBreak, Amanda applies that experience to human resources. Her responsibilities include hiring and managing caregivers and customer service personnel, along with helping with client intake.

She approaches her work with a strong focus on safety and independence. Amanda believes that helping people maintain as much independence as possible supports self-worth and contributes to a better quality of life.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling, trying new foods and experiences, relaxing at the beach, tap dancing and television production.
