Meet Ameena Gordon

Ameena Gordon brings a strong social work background to DayBreak. Her experience includes volunteer work with Palmetto Health Hospice, a social work internship in the Lexington Medical Center Emergency Room, and four years as a social worker at Newberry Memorial Hospital.

Her approach to adult care is straightforward: every client matters and deserves to be treated with respect. She believes good care starts by respecting a person’s home, abilities and individual needs.

Ameena’s work at DayBreak combines organization, client support and an understanding of the challenges families face when arranging care for someone they love.

Away from work, she enjoys exercising, reading, spending time with family and friends, and going to movies and concerts.
