Meet Coker Day

Long-term care has been part of Coker Day’s life for many years. He grew up around the senior care industry while his mother worked as a director of nursing at a local facility, and those early experiences helped shape his understanding of what families need from a care provider.

Before founding DayBreak, Coker worked for a long-term care software company. Today, he helps oversee DayBreak’s operations and remains focused on helping clients stay happy, safe and supported in the environments they know best.

For Coker, going above and beyond is not a special circumstance—it is the standard DayBreak should bring to every family it serves.

Outside of work, Coker enjoys spending time with family and fishing. He serves on the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Marine Advisory Committee, is a founding member of the Caregiver Coalition of the Midlands, and has served on the board of Palmetto Place Children’s Shelter.
